The new electric pirate touring boat has just been through stability testing, confirming that it will be RCD (Recreational Craft Directive) compliant for 6 passengers in sheltered water, with the possibility of a higher classification in due course. We think this is going to be the best electric boats for family trips available! We swamped the boat (a lot of buckets of water) to check stability should this ever happen, and also went through the process of checking how far the electric boat heels with 6 people leaning over to one side. This is me with the bucket......hard work.
